    Well, I did it. I went, I rode, I finished. In 1.35.07, which I must say I'm very proud of! I spoke to the race organisers and they have raised just over $3000 - so with the extra money you guys have pledged for me, we will be very close to $3500, which is fantastic. Also spoke to Nelson Hospice this morning adn they are incredibly grateful for all the fundraising that's been done Thank you all for your support :)

  • 3 days to go!!

    I can't believe it's only a couple of days to go until the race!! Six weeks has passed so quickly - but I think I've done enough training to not pass out halfway through. Meant to update this sooner, but I am not doing the full 42km race, not just the 20km. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but will see how I feel afterwards, particularly given it's meant to rain! To those of you who've sponsored my so far, thanks so much!! You're money is going to a fantastic cause, and I know that Hospice will be incredibly grateful for the support. Will you know my time after Sunday! Em
