Nicolaj's final journey home to Denmark

    Thanks to all of you wonderful people, we can now say that our beloved Son, Brother, Cousin, Grand child, Great mate and Friend Nicolaj Brun, has travelled from New Zealand, and back to his home country Denmark and he has been put to rest very close to his child hood home.

    We had an incredibly emotional farewell to Nicolaj, and the Church was filled with wonderful people and decorated with beautiful flowers everywhere. All of these flowers now lie on and around Nicolaj's grave, reminding us of the beautiful human being we all knew and love so dearly.

    Despite missing him every single day, and having shed so many tears over the loss of him, we are at the same time grateful. Grateful over the magnitude of all of your generosity and support.

    From all his family and friends, there really is no words to express how grateful we are, but from the very bottom of our hearts - Thank you for your help.

    Rest in peace dear Nicolaj

  • Nicolaj is coming home!

    Thanks to all of you wonderful generous and beyond compassionate people it is with a bittersweet feeling that we can say that our beloved Nicolaj is on his way home to Denmark - home to his loved ones! This would not have been possible without all of your help around the world. From the bottom of our heart, Thank you!

  • Mud run for Nicolaj

    Thanks so much for all the donations everyone has so generously given, we are so overwhelmed by the response for Nic's cause!

    Yesterday a group of his close friends here in NZ did The Muddy Good Run in Nic's honour (he loved these muddy races!). It still seems surreal to have competed in the race without him, but we did have a photo of him strapped to our chests.

    There was plenty of love, tears and mud throughout the race!! We missed you Nic xox
