Nicolaj's final journey home to Denmark

Firstly my condolences for your loss. I'm sorry for the early death of Nicolaj and how nice it is you as his grieving friend has found the strength to help out and tranport his body back to Denmark.

The insurance company usually covers the cost of the transport. Did they refuse or is he not a Danish citizen?

Hi Chris, Nicolaj didn't have insurance, as he had been living here for two years, and the travel insurance only covered up to one year unfortunately. Thanks for your support!
