    Kia Ora supporters!

Yesterday we completed our half marathon in Rotorua!

Emily, Caitlin and Shay completed the 23k Trail marathon (which turned out to be close to 27km in the end) and Nina completed the 16km!

It was a very, very intense journey that was very challenging. It really allowed us to think of the journey that refugees must take on a daily basis in order to flee conflict and seek shelter and security.

Two more days of fundraising left! Thanks for all the support! We'll write about our experiences soon !

    Nga mihi

  • Change of Marathon

      14 October 2016

Kia Ora friends, whanau, and wonderful supporters!

The team has taken a final decision to switched our initial intention of joining Auckland 21km Half Marathon on October 30 to Tarawera 23km Marathon on 12 November 2016.

The change is due to intense study commitments clashing with the Auckland Half Marathon date. As you all already probably know, our team is made up of students and it turns out our exams are during that very hectic time.

We will 100% be competing in Tarawera though and so we have extended our fundraising closing date till after we have accomplished it in order to let our supporters see our progress. We hope you understand!

    Aroha nui,

    Shay

    Kia Ora everyone,

We'd like to thank you all for the donations made so far. You have no idea how much we appreciate it and what a positive impact you are making!

Our training for Auckland 21K at the end of this month is going well.

Yesterday as part of the training I decided to do the 10K for Hamilton Half and it was quite the experience!

We have a month left to fundraise, please to share it with your whanau and friends!

Nga mihi ki a koe for all the support!

    - Shay
