Our return Greyhounds need your help!

About Us:

Greyhounds as Pets (GAP) is a dedicated charity committed to giving retired racing Greyhounds a new lease on life. Our mission is simple yet profound: to find loving, forever homes for these gentle and deserving dogs. Since our inception, we've successfully rehomed over 4,000 Greyhounds, each finding a place they can call home.

The Challenge:

Despite our best efforts, since August last year, we have had greyhounds returned to us from homes, some had been in for over five years. While we cherish every moment these dogs spend in loving households, their returns come with unexpected costs for GAP.

How You Can Help:

The unexpected expenses from these long-term returns, including vet care, dental treatments, re-registration, kennelling, food, and supplies, have put a strain on our resources. We need the support of our compassionate community now more than ever.
