At its worse it takes two adults to restrain him to prevent him hitting, scratching or biting himself. Stopping only when he sleeps. It is a vicious cycle as the movement prevents him sleeping, in the first 3 weeks of this illness we counted only 15 hours of sleep. Now on a cocktail of medication to subdue his movement (enough to make the average adult go to sleep) he is now able to get some rest although it still remains limited. In time it is thought this movement will go as the antibodies are destroyed (if the treatment works) but for now and the past 100 days it is the constant in Mostyn's life.
