Creative Freedom Foundation

The Creative Freedom Foundation is a charitable organisation that was founded in 2008 to represent NZ Artists on issues of change in New Ze

Wellington

We make a difference by maintaining education and news services, by providing an advocacy service for NZ artists to ensure their views on emerging issues such as such as NZ Copyright Law are taken into consideration by the NZ government, and by promoting and encouraging activities that positively support and build the NZ arts community.

Our successful work on the 2008-2009 Copyright law Section 92A, particularly through our 'Internet Blackout' campaign for public and artistic rights, was internationally recognised and supported by over 20,000 NZ artists and others. We write and speak regularly at conferences on how modern artists are embracing the internet, and maintain an active dialogue with our member base and the public.
