Providing education and and guided walks to visitors so they can learn about the flora and fauna. We also uniquely offer night walks around the island to listen to and see the kiwis that we protect on the island.

Aroha Island is an ongoing project to manage, conserve and develop the native kiwi and bird life, flora and fauna on the Island.

We have established an ecological centre which we wish to continue to maintain and develop to educate visitors.

Accommodation in a lodge and camping sites are maintained and rented out for short stays to help funding.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
