Engaging children, parents and their communities in common pro-social educational goals. DARE programmes are available for students years 5-13, in Te Reo Maori, for Parents/Caregivers and local communities and delivered in partnerships between professionals, trained facilitators, teachers and NZ Police. These programmes offer opportunities for learning, skill development in Decision Making, Assertiveness, Responsibility and Esteem, mentoring and support.
For 20 years we have delivered these successful New Zealand designed and owned programmes in strategic partnerships. With 23 DARE Societies nationwide, and 7 different programmes - local community projects, teachers and NZ Police have achieved very positive outcomes for young New Zealanders and their whanau, and safer communities and society
