CCS Fundraising - Auckland Half Marathon

In 5 months I will be running the ASB Auckland Half Marathon. I would love to raise as much money as possible for CCS, they are dedicated to changing the lives of people with disabilities. They support over 5,000 adults and children, whether it be through social events, games or changing the environment. One fact that everyone is so aware of but would never take any notice of is the cobbled pavement that lines many inner city streets. This is not for looks, it is designed and has been put in place by CCS in order to help the blind distinguish the pavement from the on coming road. Operations such as this and many more are what CCS are all about. They provide support and education for thousands of disabled individuals and their families. CCS came naturally to me in terms of who to fundraise for - my sister has cerebral palsy and has been a member of CCS in Christchurch for years. I have seen first hand the hard work that goes into making their members smile.
