Help Harriet Kick Cancers Butt

One of the most inspiring and amazing women I know, Harriet is a true giver and determined battler, but right now she is facing the fight of her life and she needs our help to overcome her biggest battle yet.

About 4 months ago, our brave friend was rushed to Hospital after experiencing seizures. She was quickly diagnosed with multiple tumors in her brain and lung. Testing confirmed these were secondary tumors from a melanoma that was removed from her back 10 years ago. Despite being one of the fittest and most health conscious people I know, she now as the most aggressive and deadly form of cancer.

In the last few months, Harriet has undergone a raft of different treatments including Brain surgery, radiation, scans and biopsies, and although she has received bad news and set backs within the last few months... she has maintained a fighting spirit throughout and her determination to beat this is unwavering!

The next step in Harriet's battle (along with intense diet change, supplements and naturopath guidance) is targeted drug treatment. The drugs Harriet needs for her specific type of melanoma are not funded and will cost her family, who are down to a single income, $18,000 a month! The drugs have a 70-80% success and are her best hope. After 2 months on the drugs so far, Harriet received some incredible news that some of the tumors have completely gone, and the latest scan showed the situation as 'stable' .. a massive change from the previous aggressive, out of control situation. SO it looks like the drugs and treatment plan are working so we need to continue the funding!!
