Cinema Fundraising Event for EarAidNepal

$2,486 of $2,850 goal
Given by 40 generous donors in 6 weeks

This is a fundraiser event associated with the EarAidNepalNZ campaign (www.givealittle.co.nz/causes/earaidnepalnz)

Auckland

UPDATE 6pm 9th April: Event is confirmed! Last tickets being sold, last 15 left. If you have already pledged, please pay urgently to confirm numbers.

Non-ticket general donors, you have the option of the link www.givealittle.co.nz/cause/earaidnepalnz. Awesome-sauce that you want to donate to this cause, just getting tricky to keep the event and the cause seperate, as event funds has to account for the cinema fees as well, whereas Cause funds will be 100% to the cause, as my flights were covered a while ago. Those of you amazing people that have already donated generally here but cant come on the night - I've done a manual transfer :)

Nathan Barlow's involvement (page creator)

Nathan is volunteering with EarAidNepal, and is also running the EarAidNepalNZ givealittle cause.

The proceeds from this particular cinema fundraiser will be split between 2016's flight costs (which is the main focus of the Cause page) UPDATE: all funds are for Nepal, flight have been covered)

purchasing SolarAid (solaraid.com.br) hearing aids, solar chargers and rechargeable batteries (more information available on the night)

Of each $25 ticket, $10 goes to The Vic Cinema and $5 towards to the cost of concessionary item, while $10 goes to this cause. Your half of the ticket stub is exchanged for the concessionary item, so hang on to it!

If you dont want a food or drink item for health, dietary or other reasons, please do let Nathan know on the night as that $5 can be shifted over to the Nepal fundraiser proceeds rather than the Vic's overheads.

Finally, a big thank you to the staff and management of the Vic for helping provide a reduced price in aid of charity.

Tonight's event - Everest film  28 April 2016

Kia ora koutou,

Just a friendly reminder that the Everest film is tonight at "The Vic" Cinema in Devonport. The address is 56 Victoria Rd, Devonport, Auckland 0624.

For those of you unfamiliar with Devonport, the cinema is on the left as you come around Mount Victoria. You can't miss it. There should be plenty of on-street parking within a 5 minute walking distance.

Doors open at 7.30pm and projection starts at 8pm.

Don't forget - your tickets have two halves to them, so hang on to the part we return to you at the door.

Those of you that I haven't managed to deliver tickets to - your tickets are named and waiting for you at the door.

I look forward to seeing/meeting you all tonight!

Cheers

Nathan
