About the cause:

Our friend Tony has two extremely rare conditions. In fact, he’s 1 in 4 million being the only person in NZ with DC* and Kartageners. They’re both serious! We need to get him to Boston so a group of specialists can try to solve this medical puzzle and find a solution for him and others. * Dyskeratosis Congenita

Dyskeratosis Congenita (DC) affects many parts of the body - increased risk of developing several life-threatening conditions (bone marrow failure, lung problems, leukemia and other cancers). An opportunity has arisen for Tony to meet with a team of DC specialists at Boston’s Children’s to try to find a solution.
