    So here is my route! A lovely 10km along the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway, from the end of the Lee Breakwater to the Taranaki Velodrome. I'll start at 9am on Thursday the 19th of December (rain, hail or shine) and ride as many 10km lengths as it takes to match the donations (1km per $20). Other than occasional adjustment breaks, I'll try to ride the whole thing continuously. So far the donations are up to $600. This is a great contribution and I appreciate every dollar hugely, BUT if you want to see me riding any more than a gentle 30km then please donate!   • Update for 03/12/2013

    Training Ride Number 1: Rode a nice sunny 20km along the New Plymouth foreshore in 1 hour, 21 minutes. Puts me on par for just under a 7 hour 100kms... Legs were fine but being back in the saddle will take a bit of getting used to!
