Orini School and Community Defibrillator

$3,500 of $3,500 goal

Orini Combined School is fundraising to get a defibrillator to help save lives in our School and Community.

Waikato

Currently the closest defibrillator to us is located at Whitikahu Fire station which is unattended most of the time. It is essential that we have one situated directly in our community. Defibrillators utilize technology that talks the rescuer through the steps of applying the defibrillation pads in the proper location and tells the rescuer when to call 111, perform CPR or not to touch the patient as it's analyzing the heart rhythm and shocking. This ease of use and clear instructions that anyone can follow has made defibrillators invaluable in the treatment of sudden cardiac arrest.

Help us to benefit not only our School but our Community.

Our four school houses are named after these four districts.
