Life is precious – Please give a little for Isi
Sometimes the unthinkable happens - often without any reason or anybody to blame.
Everyone who knows Andrew, Eliza, Dara and Isi from the Mc Curdy Glyn family is in complete shock and disbelief that their adorable 20 month old Isi was diagnosed with AML – a fairly uncommon form of Leukemia, after traveling to the UK for 2 months. What was thought to be a family holiday and catch-up with Eliza’s relatives in Southampton has now turned into a tight regime of Chemotherapy for beautiful Isi. After two rounds of extensive chemo, Isi will be moved to Bristol for a bone marrow transplant. Her 5 year old sister Dara is being tested as a potential donor for the transplant. Under the circumstances they feel blessed that Isi is in a good hospital in England. However they are far away from their friends and loved ones in New Zealand and also have no knowing about the time they will have to stay in England. At the moment they expect to spend at least 6 months before being able to travel again.
We would like to raise money for this wonderful family to help with Isi's treatment and extended stay in the UK, please show your love and support.
Today is a gift. Please give a little for Isi.
We are kindergarten friends with Andrew and Eliza and have been in contact with many others friends of this beautiful family. We all like to help and made the decision to setup this page for the benefit of Isi. We have opened a bank account for Isi. Please be assured that all the raised funds will be transferred to Andrew and Eliza's account after this pledge has expired.
This pledge is about to expire - Thank you for your support 31 October 2016
We would like to thank everyone for their generocity and messages of support for Isi and her family. The support has been overwhelming! Isi is going to have a bone marrow transplant at the start of November and will have to continue treatment for a while longer. This also means that the family will stay in England for much longer then previously thought. Thankfully the donations they recieved will allow Eliza and Andrew to focus on what is really important at the moment - the support of Isi and Dara.
Thank you
Silke and Shaun
