Update for 23/02/2013
23 February 2013On Monday 25th Feb I will be swimming across Lake Taupo. Starting around 4.30am I will leave from the ski lane near Turangi. Swimming for around 10hours I should reach Taupo city and finish at the boat club, right of the mouth of the Waikato river.

Year of the Channel, Update for 05/01/2013
5 January 2013Its the year I swim the English Channel and swim across Lake Taupo. In my preperation so far it has mainly been training. Although in November I competed in the State Harbour Crossing in Auckland and placed 4th. Then also cycled around lake Taupo (160km) in 4 hours and 42min - my goal was sub 5 hours so I was very happy with that! This Summer I have several sea and lake swims. Next Weekend im competing in the State Epic Swim - 5km, 10km and 2.5km all in one day! Fast Swimming
