Many thanks for everyone who donated towards my Auckland marathon fund raiser. I managed to finish in a whopping 5hrs 10 minutes, and my body let me know about it for days after. Pleased to say we managed to raise $500 for Bowel Cancer Research and ?1000 for Abigail's trust fund. Many thanks to you all for your generosity! Thanks for your help watching over me Bethan.
T-4 Weeks, off for my longest run ever this weekend in training, and hoping that I can do another few longer ones before the Marathon. Many thanks to all those who have supported so far. Very nervous about making the finish but will get across the line no matter what happens.
OK I owe everyone a big update. So far I've done both half marathons. Both in under 2 hours so I was happy about that. However my marathon training has not even really kicked in, I've been flat tack at work and the weather here has been appalling meaning very little time and motivation to go running. But we only have a few weeks now till the marathon and I'm determined to finish so training will commence again! Be prepared for some more regular updates and some more pushes for sponsorship coming up.

Today saw race one of three, done. Still waiting for official time but sub 2hrs definitely. All the way running with a good sense of why as I had a picture of Bethan on my back.
