Fundraising for Baskets Plus Community Hub

Working for Geneva healthcare and other companies, I met many people who were lonely and isolated in their beautiful homes. Some shared with me their stories of loneliness and boredom. I felt the burden on my heart, so I resigned from my job and set up Baskets Plus Community Hub as a simple solution. The numbers are growing as people get to know the place. We see all ages in this space and are all welcome without discrimination. It is our intention to keep this place open throughout the week such that whenever one feels like connecting with someone, there is a place to go to. There is no payment obligations to visit this place but a koha is welcome. It has been very difficult to keep these doors open because of financial constraints, but we have tried our best. Each month we pay $4227.88 plus utilities from our back pocket and this has drained all our family savings. Though difficult and hard, this is something we don't regret doing because it is a good cause for the community. Unfortunately, have ran out of money to carry on, that's why we are asking the public to team up with us in support of the community. Recently we have been incorporated under the charitable trust but we are yet to register to get the charity number. To apply for this number, the financial statements need to be good. Therefore , we are here to kindly ask you to donate generously such that we can have our fully fledged charitable trust that is a going concern. Thank you in advance.
