Keeping Anahata open

$7,718 of $30,000 goal
Given by 54 generous donors in 5 weeks

In order to keep Anahata’s doors open, we now need your immediate financial support.

Nelson / Tasman

Anahata has been operating for about 20 years and has grown to the point where it needs to transition to a more sustainable model so the Swamis and teachers can focus on sharing the traditional yogic teachings.

Anahata Yoga Health and Education Trust's involvement (page creator)

This place exists for transformation. So many people have come and been inspired and grown over the years. If you value what Anahata has to offer, then we are asking for your support to complete this transition.                                                                                 In addition to this campaign, what would also be helpful are supporters and patrons of Anahata who can offer a monthly donation of $10 or more (the price of two coffees per month…or maybe two green smoothies :) ) to sustain us beyond the immediate short-term need. Please contact us to set-up monthly donations.

Your support now will go towards sustaining Anahata over the next four months as we continue transitioning the organization into a more sustainable business model and putting plans into action. This includes supporting the trained yoga teachers and Swamis to focus on upholding a yogic environment whilst the administrative infrastructure is strengthened, so that this very special place can remain available for all who come.

Thank you! And see our on-going plans for evolution on our Organisation page!  16 August 2016

On behalf of the extended Anahata community and all who benefit from what Anahata has to offer, thank you so much for your donation and your support. We have raised over $7500 in under 2 months time. This is making a difference to moving through winter as we continue to evolve the organisation.

As part of our on-going campaign we have set-up an organisation page on Givealittle (givealittle.co.nz/org/anahataretreat). Donations to this page will allow us to move forward with these plans, creating a solid foundation for what Anahata offers and developing our programs for even greater benefits and sustainability - personal, organisational, and environmental. Monthly donors are also greatly appreciated for creating a more predictable financial base. Contact us directly or you can also go through Givealittle.

Once again, thank you for your support and we look forward to a continuing relationship.
