Nationwide

The IPC is a biennial conference and convergence drawing Permaculture practitioners from around the world to share, network and support each other. Despite the best efforts of organisers to keep the event low-cost, cost., particularly travel, is a major barrier for many would-be participants.

About us

The mission of Permaculture in New Zealand is the promotion the development and practice of permaculture in Aotearoa/New Zealand. We hold a national annual hui, provide effective networking and information sharing, endorse permaculture teachers, awarding diplomas and supporting the development of different permaculture education pathways, and promoting permaculture through media and events and by proactively supporting a better public understanding of permaculture.

Who will our funds support?  6 September 2013

The IPC organising team have received 22 applications for financial support to attend the convergence, predominantly from people in Africa, Asia and South America. Most are leaders in the application of Permaculture Principles for the betterment of their communities. At the organisers' request, we have not targeted our support to a specific individual. Funds raised may be combined with funding raised in other countries. This will allow optimal use of your donations.

We went to Cuba in 2001 to an international organics conference. It was really great and we met some permaculture people then. It's a really interesting place, so hopefully this will help someone else enjoy Cuba as well as permaculture.
