Firefighters cycling from Queenstown to Invercargill in the annual charity bike ride fundraiser event.

This charity bike ride is to raise awareness and funds for our local rescue chopper “Lakes District Air Rescue”. All funds raised enable rescue choppers to continue their important work to help people in need. We see first-hand in our line of work how valuable their service is to our community. We are cycling in support to allow rescue choppers to continue their amazing service.
