Please help New Zealand build a new curling 4-sheet curling rink in Auckland to give our curlers proper curling ice and to grow our sport!

Please help NZ build a new curling rink!
After many years the Auckland Curling Club are finally working on building a dedicated 4-sheet curling rink to open early in 2026. This will give our curlers proper curling ice to play on, and help the sport grow. Auckland is New Zealand's largest city, we are currently converting a warehouse close to the CBD, and we need some extra capital to get it operating.
If you are able to donate even a small amount towards this project, we would love to have your support!
Around 750 people in NZ are curling, and Auckland has the largest club with 200+ members, including a secondary school league and 17 NZ representative curlers who compete at Olympic and World Championship level. Unfortunately there are no curling rinks in the North Island and Auckland Curling has been renting ice from a skating rink 2 nights a week during the May to October season to support its schools and club league.
With a dedicated curling rink we will meet the growing interest in the sport, create a valuable community asset for people of all ages and abilities, provide a venue for schools, public, corporate and social use, as well as national and international competitions. Importantly we can grow our sport and support players to train locally.
Thank you so much for your support, and please share this page.
