The current draft rules are heading for environment court which will cost our council huge money. If we stop the process and get the rules right there will be no need for environment court.

The current rules will cost huge money to monitor and all land owners that want to just use their own grass to feed their animals will have to apply for a resource consent to farm. This is just building expensive empires that our whole community will have to pay for. These rules have to be about the health of our lake. What are your concerns about the lake?
