This is my opportunity to share the strength gained from battling mental illness. I was very fortunate to have amazing support to drive through my inner-war, which has inspired me to help others and show how we can support one another when life throws us new challenges.

Hi Rebecca. Congratulations to you and your team in cycling from Bluff to Cape Reinga in order to raise funds for Mental Health. A very big well done. In January 2015 I am cycling in the opposite direction; from Cape Reinga to Bluff in order to raise funds for Diabetes Wairarapa. Its a solo ride. The aim is to raise $50k. Im new to this kind of challenge and so any advice re cycle routes and another information you think might help me would be appreciated. Over 200,000 people in NZ suffer from the condition ( I have type 2 diabetes) and so feel free to donate also.
