Natalias wants your support as she shaves her head to raise money for Rainbow Place Hospice, the only child hospice in New Zealand.
Waikato
Natalia has decided to shave her head to raise money for Rainbow Place Hospice in Hamilton.
The decision came about when she learnt that other people had shaved their head for other charities and she jumped at the opportunity.
Many conversations have been had about what it means to shave your head for charity and how long it will take to grow back etc but her decision was easy. "Mum, if all i have to do is shave my head and kids in their last weeks of life get to have an extra special time because of me, then of course i'll do it..it's just hair"
She is the sweetest of souls and would do anything to help other people out. I am absolutely proud and priveleged to call her my daughter and support her in such a big event at such a tender age of 10.
Please join us and support her in whatever way you can.
We have set the date for 3rd April 2016 and are just confirming the location, so please donate in the meantime and help get the ball rolling.
P.S Natalia has decided that anyone who donates on the day will get to cut off a piece of her hair!!... My crazy kid :D Man shes cool
Natalia became very interested in Rainbow Place Hospice after a friend told her all about it and even when given the chance to join in an already formed group for shaving her head, she asked to specifically donate for Rainbow Place and make an event of her own.
3 days to go! THANK YOU 31 March 2016
Hello everyone! I just wanted to come and say a HUGE thank you to everyone that has donated to Natties cause and supported her in what shes doing! As of right now, she has been given $805 worth of donations :O and made it into the newspaper! I quite literally cant wait to pick her up from school to tell her all the news, she will be beyond excited.
There is still 3 days left though, so please spread the word and we hope we will still see lots of you there on Sunday.
