Fundraising for Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Trust

Wellington

The WBRT is a trust dedicated to taking in, rehabilitating and helping sick, injured and orphaned birds. They take in over 1000 birds every year, and treat a wide variety of birds, helping them recover until they're healthy.

Being privately run, they are not funded by the government or any other institute, and they therefore rely on community support in order to continue running their facility.

By donating, you can help them treat and care for birds, making sure they get the best conditions possible.

We started volunteer work for them a few months ago, and have had a great experience with helping to care for the birds. For our Year 10 community project, we decided that this was the perfect opportunity to raise awareness for this facility, wanting to raise money to help with their cause.

It is currently Spring, and many birds, such as ducklings, are being brought in and cared for, so it is a particularly busy time. No donation is too small- even a small amount of money can help provide for these birds!

Thank you for helping the WBRT!
