Cycling from Cairns to Perth for Brain Research
Del and I are young at heart 77 year olds. We will cycle, unsupported, across Australia from Cairns to Perth.
Auckland
No strangers to cycling in Australia, this will be our greatest challenge yet.
We will pedal 7000 kms across the continent, through vast isolated areas, towing our tent, food and belongings behind us in trailers.
We are raising funds for the Neurological Foundation of New Zealand for brain research into disorders such as Alzheimers, Parkinsons and Stroke.
Most of us will have experienced the sad decline of a family member or friend afflicted with such life shortening brain malfunctions.
Please help us to help our neuroscientists in their search for earlier detection methods, new treatments and preventions of brain disorders. All money raised goes to the Foundation.

Back on the Road Again! Cairns to Perth Cycle! 7 March 2018
Del's operation was a success and he's fighting fit again.
No excuses now! Our challenge is back on track!
We fly to Cairns on May 24th 2018 and begin the ride on Sunday May 27th.
