    Well I am very glad that is finished, it was a beautiful day in Rotorua, not too hot and hardly any wind, perfect weather for a run around the lake! Completed it in 5hrs 28mins and 39secs I'm happy with that. Donations for LandSAR are at $1650 so I am so very grateful to all of you that have donated to this fantastic organisation. If you haven't donated and would like to this page is open until 24th September. Last but not least Happy Birthday to my little brother who would have been 48 yesterday, you are often in my thoughts and hold a special place in my heart, you are missed xx

  • Race day tomorrow 🏃‍♀️

    Well, got my race number, got my gear all sorted and I'm ready to go. Starting time tomorrow is 8am, so it's an early wake up and trip to Rotorua. Weather is still looking okay, cloudy in the morning with showers in the afternoon and light winds. Thanks once again for all your support, it gives me so much motivation.

    Less than a week to go to the Marathon and I'm as ready as I can possibly be. Thank you all once again for your support and generosity. It is awesome to be able to give people the chance to support such a great cause.

  • 2 weeks to go 🏃‍♀️

    Well only 2 weeks to go to the Rotorua Marathon.

    Thanks to your generous support my goal of raising $500 for LandSAR has been well and truly beaten. Currently the money donated is sitting at $1185 and it would be fantastic to reach $1400 the amount needed for a VHF radio with a spare battery and charger. Training is slowing down, freshening my body up for the big day, so today was only(!) 22.4km. Thank you all for your support.
