Where good happens
Good things happen, for things that you care about, when you give a little...
About Us
Why Givealittle?
Givealittle exists to make good things happen. We are part of a wave of online ventures worldwide nutting out ways to use the web to create a real difference offline. Everyday we get up and come to work on clever online tools so that real issues, people and organisations can get the support they need from people like you. Just call it our noble mission!
So what is Givealittle?
Givealittle is an online giving platform for everyone. We are a useful tool for when you want to make stuff happen quickly using your networks. You can use Givealittle to:
- Donate to hundreds of great organisations and causes
- Start fundraising pages that benefit others registered on Givealittle
- Create your own cause to attract public donations
- Charities, non-profits and community groups create member pages to grow awareness for your work, spread the word and receive online donations easily and cost effectively.
Who is behind Givealittle?
Givealittle is a small web company based in Wellington, New Zealand.

Founded by CEO Nathalie Hofsteede in December 2007 we are a team of like-minded folk who are passionate about using the web for:
- Putting that good feeling back into the ways we give
For too long giving has become about guilt and asking you when you least expect it - chuggers on the street, telemarketing calls, appeals in the mail, adverts on tv & billboards
We are all about making giving a good experience when you are supporting things that you care about, in a way where you are in control.
- Reducing the cost of fundraising for charities and people doing good things
Traditional methods of fundraising can be very expensive for cause leaders and charities (sometimes between 30-80% of your donation gets lost in costs to raise money).
The web offers a great solution to help make your donation go further.
