Here's to helping Victoria to a full recovery and rid of this nonsense she has to deal with. Come on lets help her do this!!
Auckland
Three months ago Victoria had discovered a lump in her right breast. At first it was thought she had a cist or some built up scar tissue inside. After a painful biopsy she was diagnosed on the 1st of July 2015 with stage 3 breast cancer which has spread to her lymph nodes.
At 26 years of age and a mother to a beautiful 3 year old daughter this was hard to accept let alone imagine how life will be from now on. But the strong willed women has taken NO for an answer and is ready to take this challenge on and WIN!!
Because of this she has had to give up her job due to all the chemicals involved conflicting with her treatment and recovery. She is to undergo chemo in the next couple weeks for a few months to try shrink the tumour then surgery to follow. Also she is to undertake the Vitamin C intravenous (IVC) treatment which is by no means cheap.
As we all know the cost of living is ridiculous in this day and age for most let alone someone who has to raise a young daughter, deal with day to day costs and treatments involved. This is definitely going to be a struggle!!! Every little bit of support will be greatly appreciated and 100% of it will be put towards treatment, living costs and good rewards for Victoria.
So to all of her FAMILY, FRIENDS, COLLEGUES, PARTNERS, ASSOCIATES and anyone willing to help. We all need to show our support and let her know that she is not alone on this journey and that we are ALL here for the ride also.
She is the most fun, loving, caring, devoted mother/friend/partner/individual I know who always puts others before her self. She does not deserve this at all!! But I know with her faith, determination , strong will and self belief. She is going to overcome and conquer this little bump in the road life has given her.
Thank you for taking your time to read this... Now our journey begins.
Victoria is a loving and devoted Mum, Daughter, Sister and friend I wish to help fundraise as much as I can for Victoria and her and daughter so they both have no financial burden during this time.
Update on progress 21 September 2015
Kiaora Family and friends,
Sorry for the late update as it has been a rollercoaster ride over the past month and a bit and now finally have time to update with GOOD news..
Victoria's progress has come along extremely well with the tumour shrinking in size from its 7cm x 5.5cm down to 4.5cm x 3.2cm and nothing to be found in her lymph nodes now. Thank you all for your support and donations for Victoria and as you can see it is all helping her in a huge way!!! But the battle is not over yet we shall continue this journey with her.
Her alternative treatment that she has been doing has been extremely effective as you can see by the results she has had. But it has also been very expensive as well. BUT we need to help Victoria by still donating for her to continue her treatments to get her back to FULL recovery.
If you guys have any ideas such as fundraisers, events or any other way to help raise money for her please give me a message via givealittle or facebook, phone call and I will be more than happy to advise or help out with doing so!!
Once again we would like to thank you guys for all the help you have given. She is truly humbled and overwhelmed by all the support you have given her. You are a bunch of legends!!!
As this journey continues I will have more updates and good news for you guys. But she needs all your support to get there!!!
Believe and you shall conquer!!!
Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
