A Big Thank You. Hello to the many of you wonderful folk who have donated your money, your time, and your help to us. We would have struggled during Tumour Time and this current year had it not been for you all. Every dollar you gave helped us out ? we were able to get ourselves out of debt and pay our bills. It even helped us to buy that delicious meal of KFC on New Yearfs Eve when we had a picnic on the lounge floor at home. Since then we have bought a bed, a super awesome one that Kings and Queens would use all the timec because sleep is pretty important these days. We also paid off our credit card bill, paid off my parents, paid off my brotherc er, living the life as an artist has been a bit of hard work. But we are now financially in the all clear and are very lucky to be living a wonderful life againc in between naps of course ? all thanks to you. If itfs possible I hope to repay you all through my future artwork, and to put a smile on your face. I never used to believe in karma, but now I do. Tony Dear Tony's Tin Soldiers The emotion has started to flow as soon as I tried to think of what I wanted to say to you all. At a time when I was hanging on to hope, a wonderful friend of ours set up this Givealittle site. She knew not to ask for permission, because she knew I would say no. And first I felt too proud and embarrassed to accept the money. Some of you we know and some we don't. But everyone of you has relieved us of a little bit of stress to help us push through this adventure (Tony likes to call it an adventure, but I have other names for it!) The road to recovery is a long one and at the moment I am enjoying having the kids and Tony under my feet at home. The journey is by no means over but the road has been paved a little smoother by you all. Thank you, thank you with all of my heart!! Pipa PS: I have held on to all of the ice cream containers that were delivered full of meals and goodies and plan on filling them all and delivering to others in need as soon as we are on our feet again.

Kia Ora Tin Soldiers, WOW. What an awesome effort huh!? Thank you to everyone who has donated in support of our friend Tony and his family. The way Tony lives his life is an inspiration. We know it would make him happy to hear that there are a bunch of Tin Soldiers who are maintaining his life ethos while he's recuperating. Tony helps so many people on a daily basis, it's just part of who he is. So in the lead up to Christmas it seems appropriate that we all consider how we can keep paying it forward and help someone who needs a hand: Volunteer for a charity, plant a tree, mow your elderly neighbours lawns every week, make meals for your friends who have just had a baby, take your friendly dog to a rest home, pass your fifth coffee for free on to the next customer, hold open a door for someone struggling with a pram or wheel chair. Pick up rubbish on the streets or beach if you see it. It really is that simple. And in the words of Tin Man SIMPLE IS GOOD. We wish you a happy and healthy Christmas to you and yours. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, your instantaneous response to our call for help, your generosity and your thoughtful wishes. Love Tony's Tin Soldiers

Thank you very much for your support everyone. I know it's not in Pip and Tony's nature to ask for help but they are possibly the most deserving people I know! We've just cracked $2000 in 24 hours! Amazing work and thank you for your donations big or small - it all counts. If you would like to share this site with other friends who might know Pip and Tony or might wish to help then feel free to do so. Much love, Tony's Tin Soldiers xx
