Thunder was neglected before becoming part of the Black Sheep, and didn't like humans very much. However, he has now bonded with the cows and Peanut, an elderly horse. Due to past neglect, Thunder has had ongoing hoof problems including laminitis – a painful condition that requires expensive treatment. Please can you help our lovely pony!

About us

The Black Sheep supports animal rights and animal protection, providing a safe haven for over 200 previously abused, injured and neglected animals (pigs, goats, sheep, roosters, cows, horses, ducks, geese, rabbits, turkeys and more) near Ōtaki Forks.
