Thermal underwear for Ukraine

Dear friends and whānau,

Ukraine just made it through the very tough winter. We saw millions of people in Ukraine who face the devastating consequences of Russian military aggression. Homes have been destroyed, families have been displaced, and the basic necessities of life are scarce. Unfortunately, this war is not going away and Kremlin regime continues aggressive rhetoric and actions.

That's why we're launching a fundraising campaign to produce and ship thermal underwear to the people of Ukraine. With your help, we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by the conflict. We are proud to be working with the Weft Knitting Company (https://www.weft.co.nz/) and its managing director, Hugh Douglas. The Weft Knitting Company, a reputable and socially responsible company, has generously agreed to provide us with high-quality materials at cost. We'll be working with volunteers in Ukraine to distribute clothes directly to those in need as we've already done that in the past winter. By the time we collect, pack and send these clothes to Ukraine, we expect them to arrive in October when cold weather starts to prevail.

We need your support to make this project a success. Every donation counts, no matter how small or large. Your contribution will help us provide a basic necessity to those who need it most and will show them that they are not forgotten.
