Fill the Whare, Feed the Whānau - Your koha makes it happen!
Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui
Without renewed support, Te Whare Pūkai may have to close its doors.
Te Whare Pūkai is a distribution warehouse dedicated to ensuring all whānau, (families and individuals from every community) have access to food, hygiene products, and other essentials.
Since 2022, Te Whare Pūkai has distributed over 140,000 essential items across Tararua, Manawatū, Horowhenua, Ōtaki and Te Papaioea, even supporting emergency responses beyond the region.
1 in 4 children live in homes where food runs out.
Te Whare Pūkai is here to reduce the number of people going without.
Through a broad network of Non-Government Organisations, Pasifika, iwi and Māori partners, Te Whare Pūkai reaches deep into communities to deliver support where it’s needed most.
But funding has ended. Without support, Te Whare Pūkai will close by November 2025.
Stand Up by donating to keep Te Whare Pūkai open for all whānau.
Stand Out by sharing our Givealittle link.
Fill the whare, feed the whānau. Your donation makes it happen.
Te Tihi o Ruahine, established in 2013, is an Alliance of nine Hapū, Iwi and Māori voluntary organisations and service providers who have come together to inspire a collective approach with a constant and unwavering commitment to whānau.
The funding for Te Whare Pūkai has ended. Without new support, we may not continue operating. We hope the community sees the value of our work and helps us keep this vital service running. Every contribution makes a difference.
