Serving Orphans in Peru
My name is Gilly. My daughter Anaiah and I are fundraising so we can go and serve in an orphanage in Peru for three months.

Our desire is to support 4 - 18 year old's who have lost their parents due to complications caused by poverty, disease, family violence or simple abandonment.
Our role will be to work alongside these children and help them with;
Teaching Basic English
Helping students with their homework
Planning and leading extracurricular activities such as dancing, singing, drawing, painting, playing sports,
Teaching children about health and personal hygiene
Teaching computer classes
Helping take children on field trips
Teaching life skills and daily tasks such as cleaning, cooking, business skills, getting dressed, sewing, gardening, etc
Assisting in orphanage and school administrations with daily tasks

Use of funds
The money raised will be used for the following:
Flights to Cusco, Peru, host family and orphanage donation, insurance, transfers and admin costs to IFRE Volunteer Agency.
If we are blessed with surplus funds, these will go to the orphanage.

Hi everyone
June is here already (where did April and May go?) and we haven't quite reached our monetary goal with our various fundraising initiatives.
So the fundraising continues. Fortunately flights and dates of departure are fluid.
