    It's been a week of highs and lows. On the high side we have been blessed with the amazing generosity from everyone who has contributed to help Sam achieve her dream trip with her school peers. The down side has seen her close friend, aged 17, lose his fight with this awful disease. Incredibly Michael enjoyed a ski trip with Sam and a bunch of other teens not long ago and the relapse happened quickly. I wasn't there but the mum tells me it was tough for everyone, Sam included. Sam has a lumber puncture coming up early next week followed by a Canteen weekend in Christchurch - certainly another mixed week. You can expect an update on that as it happens. Thank you all again for your thoughts and help - it means a lot to us all. PC

    Hi Everyone - we are all completely humbled by the generous donations that Sam has received. It's so heart warming to know that so many people care. Sam learnt last night that one of her best friends within Canteen lost his battle at only 17 years of age. Our love and thoughts go out to his family and any extra money received for this cause, will be given to Canteen to help others, with all our love xxx

    Hi everyone. I just put a few photos up showing Sam at various stages of treatment and the affect it had. I was half way through when I got a text from her Mum saying that a close friend had suffered a relapse and was not at all well. I hope Mike hangs in there and has the energy to kick this thing into touch. It really just sucks all round. PC

    Wow, what a wonderful bunch of generous people you are! We have raised $850.00 towards getting our girl to Europe. This site has put a smile back on Sam's page and she is feeling your love and support. Happy days ahead :) xxx
