Please help my dear friend Chantelle, fly back to the UK to see her Mum before it's too late.
Bay of Plenty
I have created this page to help my dearest friend Chantelle, a solo mum with no family in New Zealand, return to see her terminally ill mum in the UK.
Unfortunately, Chantelle's, mum's health is deteriorating at a fast rate and just when she thought she may never get to see her again while she still remembered who Chantelle was, I let her know that I was creating this page to help. . .
Her response was so beautiful and heartfelt, with tears rolling down her face she said, "Thank you, for bringing hope back into my life. . ."
She does not have the funds to return to the UK and as you can appreciate needs to get back as soon as possible.
The goal amount is a realistic figure to cover all flights and travel expenses for her and the cost of hiring a car so she may travel to see her Mum.
Your help and support is greatly appreciated. Thank you with all my heart for helping my beautiful friend.
This is her story. . .
My beloved Mum lives in the UK in a care home. She has Parkinson’s disease and quite advanced Alzheimer’s. My Mum has been the best Mother and best friend that I could ever have wished for and has given me and our family so much love and support throughout our lives.
She is the most loving, caring, kind, generous and wise person I have ever met and I am eternally grateful for all that she is and has been. We have always had an incredibly close bond and connected on such a deep level and her loving guidance, positivity, acceptance and understanding have been an amazing influence and inspiration in my life.
I miss her so much being in New Zealand and it breaks my heart that I can't be there for her as she always has been there for me and I can't return to live in the U.K. Phone calls are getting difficult for her and she doesn't like skype, so contact is reducing.
My Mum's condition is worsening every week and her memory fading fast and time is running out for me to see her in person when she still remembers who I am. I desperately want to get back to the UK for a few weeks to spend precious time with her. I need to say my goodbyes to her in person.
I had almost lost hope of this happening till my dear friend told me that she was creating a page on Give A Little and gave me a ray of hope that we can be re-united. I would be deeply grateful for anything you can give or sharing my story to make this happen and I know my Mum would be too. I know she needs to see me again too and we both need to let each other go with love and light. I need to hold her again and give her all my love and gratitude. Thank you deeply from my heart and my Mum's for making this a reality.

It just breaks my heart to hear that my dearest friend Chantelle may not get to see her Mum while she still remembers her and before things get worse.
I understand the bond she has with her Mum because I too was extremely close to my Mum. We were best friends just like them.
However, I was able to spend those precious moments with my Mum, hold her hand and be there with her each step of the way before she passed.
Chantelle might not have the same opportunity to be by her Mum's side all the way through like I was with my Mum, however spending precious time with her for a few weeks would make a world of difference. . .
Please help make this a reality for my friend, Chantelle.
Thank you with all my heart,
Nataria.
