The children's village needs sponsorships to enable it to operate the school, care for its destitute children, purchase farming inputs such as hoes, shovels, seeds and animals, provide training in commercial farming and animal husbandry, and to develop community income generating projects.

We're inspiring, empowering and enabling volunteers around the world to raise money to help children in developing countries to break free from poverty. At The GVN Foundation we believe in the idea of 'local solutions to local problems' and we therefore work with local community organizations in each country we support.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
