Craig and I are off to Myanmar with LeaDev (Leadership development with Langham).
Auckland
Craig and Sarah are going to Myanmar with LeaDev (Langham, New Zealand) in January to support a leadership development project. Craig will be working with pastors and Sarah will be teaching the Gospel of Luke to 4th Year BTh students at KCBC, a consortium of Bible College students.
KCBC is the Kalaymyo Consortium of Bible Colleges in Kalaymyo, Myanmar. This is a significant project begun my LeaDev, New Zealand to grow depth and maturity in the local churches.
Sarah went last year to teach at the consortium and is delighted this will now be a project which Craig will share in. Craig is excited and preparing for how best to support local pastors. He is a little nervous but keen to be part of what God is doing in this part of the world.
Many thanks 4 January 2016
Hi everyone,
Craig and I are so grateful for your support of our work in Myanmar. We are just getting last minute things together and are excited to be going.
Today we went to see my mum who is really frail and will find our time away difficult. If you are a person who prays - pray for her especially. For us, we would really appreciate prayers for good health while we are away!
I have my class notes ready to go and will really look forward to meeting last year's students again, and meeting the new 4th year class.
Craig is looking forward to getting alongside pastors and beginning a relationship with them.
We fly out early tomorrow.
Blessings,
Craig and Sarah
