    Dear All,

This is our last page update in 2023 on Giveallitle platform.

The page is closing on 28th December however we won’t abort our mission.

As well as general fundraising we will focus on a project/task(s) funding and supply.

Please feel free to drop us a line via email if you would like to hear from us later next year when our facebook page (or website) is up and running.

Our latest shipment (loaded last Month) with thermal clothing is on schedule calling Rotterdam in mid January. This is our second consignment of thermals made over the last couple of months which should be with their end users in Jan/Feb’2024.

Last week we arranged several parcels with xmas presents (mainly sweets, cookies, and coffee) to be delivered to the Zero Line. Additionally, this week, it will be a few boxes with thermal pads (inslole foot and toe warmers) sent to the same area in the red zone.

We also negotiated and facilitated production of camouflage nettings (winter grade) at one of Ukrainian factory. These will be ready in very early 2024.

And finally, our huge Thank You for your support, we do appreciate you choosing to support us since we started our campaign in 2022 and we look forward to continuing to help Ukrainian people fighting for their freedom and existence.

    Hi Everyone,

I have one more video to share with you received from the children's hospital in Bila Tserkva (White Church). We also used this video in our fundraising concert. Your aid was delivered by our volunteers Oleh from a Charitable Foundation "I Am Not Alone" and our long time friend Lyudmila, both from Kyiv.

Additionally to that we managed to arrange a prompt shipment with thermal clothing for delivery to the area close to the front line in the east.

In the video you may/can hear Thank you to the Boyko's Family and their friend Olena Artyukh for their help. However, in fact a Huge Thanks goes to our Auckland community because of your help and your support.

Thank you, Auckland, Thank you New Zealand !

    Slava Ukraini !

    Hi Everyone,

The latest shipment I mentioned in the previous update is now in Ukraine.

Part of the shipment has already been delivered to Kostiantynovka (Donbas area) and was distributed among local residents.

Kostiantynivka several times suffered from Russian strikes that targeted fuel depots and power plants.

It is located near the frontline. The residents of the city can hear shelling and fighting daily.

You can see our volunteers and happy local kids on the Main Photo of Page Update.

I have also added a few more photos to the Gallery, including a local map (Institute for the Study of War, dated 15th October), you can feel how this town is close to the frontline.

The preparation for our Fundraising Concert for Ukraine Sunflowers - Medical and Humanitarian Help is well under way.

We have created a great family variety show with some fantastic entertainers.

Tickets are on sale via https://www.eventbrite.co.nz/e/fundraising-concert-nz-4-ua-medical-and-humanita-tickets-708146915487?aff=oddtdtcreator

    Hi Everyone,

Our last shipment with warm clothing has arrived in Poland last night.

Another week or two and it will cross the Ukrainian border.

Good timing as it did not have any delays in transit, winter season is quickly approaching.

As I mentioned in the last update that we had to focus on raising more funds to continue operating.

The funds are being required to proceed and continue working on two new projects:

    - Mobile Dental Care Unit, and

    - Hot Line and Direct Psychological Support Unit.

The most exciting news is that we are now launching a fundraising concert in order to finance these projects. The poster is attached as Main Photo on Page Update.

It will be a night of quality music. The concert will blend jazz, soul, folk, popular and Ukrainian music, featuring musical and cultural performances by our local Auckland musicians and artists. We will introduce them on our Facebook Event Page soon. All of them donated their time for this event.

Tickets are on sale from 3rd of October https://www.eventbrite.co.nz/e/fundraising-concert-nz-4-ua-medical-and-humanita-tickets-708146915487?aff=oddtdtcreator

One of our performers Sergiy Klymchuk is also participating in a charity concert for Ukraine taking place this Sunday 8th October 12:30pm - 01:30pm in the city. I have put his poster in to the Gallery. Come along and enjoy his music if you have time this weekend.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks very much for all your encouraging messages, your donations and your ongoing support.

With your help, we completed our latest shipment of warm clothing, which departed for Ukraine last week. This shipment was done in consolidation with Ukrainian Association of New Zealand.

In total there were several tonnes of clothing, medicines and medical equipment.

This time, our humanitarian aid was predominately in form of thermal clothing for adults and children (please refer to a few photos in the Gallery).

The shipment was planned well in advance to ensure delivery of the goods and their distribution via our volunteers’ network before the start of winter in Ukraine. Some of the goods were procured from New Zealand retailers - thermals, beanies, gloves, underwear, socks, nappies and hygiene products. However, a significant part of this shipment was produced and donated by our East Auckland community - woollen jerseys, socks, beanies for babies and children, warm jackets for kids, thermal blankets / wraps, thermal tops and pants for children.

I am taking an opportunity to introduce you one of our supporters Emma from East Auckland who took upon this project in supplying Ukrainian kids with warm clothing. She and her team did a fantastic job in organising everything and meeting deadlines for loading.

Here is her letter or summary which speaks for itself, -

"Like many people I had wanted to do something to help the people of Ukraine, but in a tangible way.

I knit so I got mentioning to family, friends, and colleagues my idea and along with others from Waipu to Whanganui who heard about the knitting project we made several hundred woollen jerseys for babies and children, which were sent to Ukraine and distributed to maternity hospitals and locals in need. Each jersey had a heart shaped cut out with the message “With Love from NZ”.

Robyn, a generous supporter, supplied Italian thermal fabric to the Highland Park sewing group, who offered me a bundle. I cannot sew but thought if I could find people with overlockers and time, we could make thermals.

So, Janet a friend from Whangaparoa, sorted patterns, templates and overlockers and our first working bee was underway. Michelle from Beachlands organised another working bee, we drew and cut out piles of long johns and got sewing. Others from the local area of Beachlands, Maraetai and Clevedon area including the church helped sew over 400 thermal tops and pants for newborns ages 2 years through to 10 years age. A company kindly donated the elastic. Racheal from Beachlands spent many evenings sewing and she completed about 150 items.

Valeriy and Elena, local Ukrainian kiwis, who were aware of the needs of people in the war zone said there was a need for wraps, so we made 80. Patsy from Pakuranga edged 60. Each article was stamped with a label- “Made in NZ with love”, till the stamp ran out.

Many people assisted with enabling this project to be such a great success, a few letters accompanied parcels saying they were very grateful for the opportunity to contribute, they wanted to do something but did not know how to.

The project was an absolutely privilege to organise and facilitate and a pleasure to be able to help the folks In Ukraine, keep them warm in the coming winter. "

Thank you, Emma and your team again for such valuable contribution.

And finally, you may have noticed that there is a slowdown in donations.

We now need to focus on raising more funds to continue operating.

Please continue sharing this page and what we are doing with everyone you know.

The more funds we can raise the more we can do.

Thank you again for supporting us and people of Ukraine who are fighting for their independence in this horrible war.

God bless New Zealand and Slava Ukraini !

      11 July 2023

    Hi Everyone,

I am pleased to share with you a new video received from our Ukrainian friends and volunteers Oleh and Serhiy who recently returned from another trip to Kherson area.

They delivered food, drinkable water, warm clothing, blankets, and some of hygiene products to the residents and people who had to leave their places along the river due to the flooding after destruction of Nova Kakhovka Dam. The aid was delivered directly to many of real people who were in dire straits after the dam was blowup by ruzzian aggressors.

You can see both guys at the beginning of the video with the Ukrainian flag and then with the locals at the end of the footage.

Our contribution was in form of warm clothing for kids, beanies, blankets. You can see these items in the video.

The locals were especially impressed by our blankets because they were new, hand knitted and were in need for the residents arriving just in time.

You can also hear a lot of “Dyakuyu” and “Duzhe Dyakuyu” in Ukrainian which means Thank You and Thank You Very Much in English addressed by the locals to everyone who contributed and assisted with this delivery.

Once again Huge Thanks to everyone who supported and keeps supporting us and people of Ukraine!

    Dear All

It is now more than a year since the ruzzian aggression in Ukraine began, and since we started our campaign to provide Ukraine with medical and humanitarian help. According to the recent report of World Health Organization (WHO), more than 17.5 million Ukrainian people have been affected by the war. WHO has also verified more than 1,000 attacks on health care sites in Ukraine over the past fifteen months of full-scale war – the highest number WHO has ever recorded in any humanitarian emergency. Unfortunately, aggressive attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure and residential areas are still taking place. The recent destruction of Nova Kakhovka Dam added tens of thousands to the already millions of people displaced.

We will be extending our campaign up until the end of the year to support Ukrainians in need with humanitarian aid.

Thank you for all your support and Slava Ukraini !

    Hi Everyone

I’m very sad to be posting this update a day after the funeral of Kane Te Tai, a New Zealander who died fighting for freedom in Ukraine. In Kane’s own words on his time in Ukraine, “I’ve enjoyed myself here. I’ve learned to live and to love here. I have fallen in love with the people, the Country.” Slava Heroes!

It is always exciting to report good news when we can. Our Ukrainian friends have completed production of the second lot of wood burners/heaters and they were also delivered to Kherson-Mykolaiv region last month by Sergiy (pictured in the Gallery) and his team who we work with since we started our campaign.

A portable diesel generator was also purchased and received at the end of last month and is being sent to a mobile medical unit operating in the de-occupied territory of Donbas region, the unit is located in close proximity to a red zone or “Zero Line”. There is no mains electricity there at all. Thanks to our volunteers from Lviv (pictured in the Gallery).

Our Kyiv based volunteers Ludmila and Valentina continued delivering warm clothing for kids to local Maternity Hospitals, Children Boarding Schools and to various centres for displaced families with children. They visited local maternity hospitals in Irpin and Vorzel again and personally handed over blankets and kids warm clothing sets to new moms and children in the hospitals. I am pleased to share a new video (Page Update) about their latest visit to Irpin Maternity Hospital from last week with you. There are also a few photos taken in the hospitals (Page Update and Gallery) and children boarding school in Bila Tserkva (Gallery). The boarding school is taking care of kids with hearing, speech and eye vision problems http://bc-internat.at.ua/

Another project we started recently is to source two minivans ex Germany, Austria, Italy or Poland and transfer them across to our volunteers in Ukraine, so they can continue delivering medical and humanitarian aid. These vehicles will also be used for evacuation if needed. These can be Renault Trafic, Renault Master, Iveco Daily (or similar). Their cost is from €5,000 to €6,000 (approx) with 250,000+km on odometer.

In order to finance and achieve this we have teamed up with the Ukrainian Relief Fund (Australia) run by my son Andriy again. I hope to report back to you on the outcome in 3 to 4 weeks.

In the meantime, please keep sharing our initiatives and spread the word as widely as possible.

Thank you all for your support.

    Hi Everyone,

Another quick update on a couple of recent projects.

About a month ago we contributed towards the manufacture of 30 wood burning portable ovens.

The project was originated by my son Andriy.

You can see a few ovens on the main picture. I have added a couple of photos to the Gallery.

The ovens look very basic, but do a good job and are most needed in the recently liberated areas around Kherson, and also in the areas close to the front lines where there is no electricity supply at all.

The first lot of 15 ovens have already been produced and delivered to Kherson for further distribution.

They are already providing assistance to dozens/hundreds of locals with heating and cooking.

The remaining 15 units have just been made and are about to go out.

We are also finalising the purchase of a portable diesel 6KW power generator (pictured).

The unit is already in Ukraine and will be destined for Donbas area.

    Hi everyone,

Firstly, my apologies for not being in contact with you recently and secondly, thanks a lot for your patience waiting for an update.

The delivery took a bit longer as we had some delay with sending goods out during the busiest time of the year, compounded by worsening winter weather conditions across Ukraine, and the continuing russian missile attacks on civilian infrastructure and residential areas.

Our volunteers operating in the Kherson area had to wait for more than two weeks before receiving the Go Ahead from local authorities to come and deliver the aid to local residents living near front lines.

Anyway, the good news is that all our cargo was delivered in full to all destinations - Donbas and Kherson area, Lviv, Kyiv, Irpin and Vorzel. In the video one of the doctors of Irpin Maternity Hospital thanking New Zealand community and particularly the ladies from East Auckland for their support by providing new woven (hand knitted) clothing to the newborn Ukrainian babies and their mothers. I have included a few photos taken during this visit to the Irpen hospital in the Gallery. You will also see our volunteer Ludmyla from Kyiv who delivered the aid to the hospital. She also delivered the aid to the Centre of Social Support for Children and Families of Vorzel. The pictures of that visit are also available in the Gallery. You will see Ludmyla on these photos and in the video.

Another volunteer, Ira from Lviv who we have been dealing with from the beginning of the war and personally met in Ukraine during our last visit arranged a prompt supply of warm clothing to Donbas area and also arranged and ensured delivery of the kids clothing to Kyiv City Children’s Home BERIZKA.

This organisation provides care for kids from several months to 3 years of age. The Director Olexandr Migilniy asked us to convey his Big Thanks to all who made this aid especially warm kids blankets. He is on another photo in Gallery with the aid.

I will publish more photos in a few days and update you on other several projects that we are currently engaged with.

Thank you all for making this happen.

It has been a very busy few weeks for us as we worked hard to procure and arrange shipment of more warm clothing to Ukraine before the coldest season hits the entire country. Now, I am pleased to report that the consignment was collected this morning for a Tues/Wedn departure – there are a few issues with airline backlogs here due to recent fuel shortages, so it might be delayed a little. I have attached a few photos (main page and Gallery) of the goods included in this shipment.

All goods were purchased as per requests received from our volunteers’ network and included a wide range of Thermal Socks, Lightweight Thermal Clothing, Thermal Underwear, Beanies, Gloves and Light Weight Sleeping Mats/Liners, Emergency Blankets. We also assembled 200+ Dental/Hygiene Kits and added them to this consignment.

Average winter temperatures in Ukraine during winter are around minus 3 degrees Celsius and can plunge to minus 20 degrees. These harsh winter conditions are compounded by weekly missile attacks on civilian infrastructure including power supply, and hot and cold-water supply plants. You may be aware from the news that the latest missile strike in Ukraine last Friday plunged millions of citizens back into cold and darkness again, days before the winter holidays.

I must say a big thank you to our East Auckland community once again for providing us with hand knitted clothes for babies, kids and adults. The community was very generous with knitting and the donation of socks, beanies and jerseys for kids. All handmade or brand new. The 300 beanies were knitted by one lady from Sunnyhills Primary School on her knitting machine, and she has donated all the wool.

A big thank you goes to our freight forwarder Oceanbridge Shipping who provided logistics support and airfreight at no cost to us. It is another huge contribution by Bill Speedy and his team at Oceanbridge.

In summary and as the result of all of the above I can say that hundreds of the Ukrainian babies, kids and adults will feel a bit warmer this winter because of your trust in what we are doing, your donations and your support to Ukraine. This would not have been possible without you. A HUGE Thank You to Everyone!

May our team at NZ 4 UA and our volunteers in Ukraine wish you all and your families a very Merry Christmas and Peaceful New Year!

    Please keep sharing ...

    Hi All,

I am pleased to share with you some photos (please see the gallery) and video (page update and gallery) received from our network of volunteers in Ukraine and a few photos taken on the streets of Poland showing support and solidarity with Ukraine.

As you know, our last shipment had a large quantity of woollen clothing and blankets for babies and children. These were made and donated by the Highland Park Sewing Group, Auckland. Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk have begun distributing aid among internally displaced people in the local area. In the video they acknowledge importance of getting such warm clothing now before the upcoming winter season. They also give them a feeling of love and kindness and they thank everyone for the kindness and support that they feel, even from New Zealand, thousands of kilometres away.

Another shipment of kids clothing is on the way to Poltava-Kremenchuk region. It had been delayed due to recent escalation of russian drone-strikes on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. A lot of Ukrainian cities are experiencing unplanned power outages or are without power for significant time.

Despite the power supply situation across the entire country, our medical aid has already arrived in Dnipro, Odesa and Donbas region. This time we procured medicine as requested by the hospitals, which mainly included varieties of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, bleeding control, antiseptics for the treatment of skin infections and anti-fungal creams.

Finally, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to our volunteers in Lviv, Dnipro, Poltava-Kremenchuk, Kyiv, Odesa and Poland. I am sure that when the right time comes, I can introduce all of them to you, but for now I’ll just say thank you to them all - Ira, Sergiy, Andriy, Roman, Bohdan, Taras, Dar’ya, Lesya, Vasyl for all the great work you are doing so that our aid can get through to the Ukrainian people in need.

    Slava Ukraini !

    Hi ALL,

It is just a quick update from Ukraine.

Despite of significant delay in transit of goods from NZ, and also the shipment from Germany was lost in transit from Germany to Poland we have managed to track them down and ensure their safe to transfer to Ukraine. There is one carton with medical equipment is still due to arrive. However, it has been located and should be in Lviv within a couple of days. Everything had been checked by us in Lviv's warehouse and our Lviv based volunteers are now working on transferring goods DONATED BY YOU or PURCHASED ON YOUR DONATIONS on to each receiving party as allocated. This will take another week or two.

I will share with you more photos once the goods are received.

Another news is that our baked beans are now arrived in Kharkiv, Dnipro and Kremenchuk. They were given to the displaced families and to all people in need in each location (please look at new photos and video in the gallery.)

Everyone in Ukraine we deal with is asking us to pass their Big Thanks to All of You !!!

    Hi All,

After speaking to our contacts in Ukraine, I just wanted to quickly update you on the distribution of our last shipment of canned food. Last week 6,000 tins were delivered to Mykolaiv area by our Lviv based volunteers and are now with another group who is going to further deliver the goods to those who are in need. Photos to follow once available. There is a delay with the balance of the shipment as it was supposed to be consolidated with some other goods to go in one lot to the south-east. Unfortunately, other priorities have pushed this delivery slightly back. We hope that it will be on the road within next 7-10 days.

In other news - we have had some success in procuring the requested medicines and equipment for a Ukrainian hospital. Credit goes to my son Andriy Boyko who conducted all negotiations on our behalf with a Germany based pharmaceutical supply company. The goods should be ready for collection in a couple of weeks.

And finally, we are in the final stage of organising already purchased and donated medical supplies and humanitarian aid for our next delivery to Ukraine. Part of humanitarian aid will be handmade baby clothes and blankets made for the Ukrainian refugees. 40 ladies from the Highland Park Sewing Group were knitting furiously to provide us with their items. Ukraine is going into winter, so these little booties, beanies, blankets and clothes (please refer to the photo) will hopefully keep kids and babies warm in these desperate times.

And now finally… my wife Elena and I are to fly over to Europe in a couple of weeks to arrange consolidation of all goods, their allocation as per requirements and pass them over to our contacts in Ukraine. We will be travelling at our own expense.

Thank you again for your support and keep sharing.

Our Baked Beans have crossed the border last weekend and are now in Ukraine!

They are awaiting for transportation to their final destinations via our volunteers network.

It is a lot of beans - 20 pallets or 20 tones or 40,320 tins !!!

We could not take and publish photos with more details at their loading and devanning locations for security reason. However it will be more photos once they reach their final destinations - Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipro, Mykolaiv and Kherson areas.

    Hi All,

I would like to give you an update on the progress made with our second shipment with humanitarian aid.

This time it will be Food - Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce packed in an Easy Open Tin of 425ml (product label is attached).

Baked Beans are nutritious and easy to eat, when cooking is difficult. These will be produced in Italy and trucked to Ukraine.

The supplier should be able to get the packaging printed in a couple of days and will be producing this product in week beginning 18th of July.

We aim to deliver our shipment into Ukraine before end of the month. Our volunteers' network has already provided us with their estimated needs and set of destinations where the goods will be transferred upon crossing the Ukrainian border.

Because of your support thousands of people in need will be able to receive this aid.

The total quantity of Beans that we are going to deliver is 20 Pallets or 20 tonnes or 40,320 tins!

In order to facilitate the entire shipment and provide a broad supply across various parts of Ukraine we have partnered with two more voluntary organisations that are also assisting the Ukrainians affected by the war.

This allowed us to consolidate our efforts, procurement and logistics expertise, local knowledge including distribution networks and make our deliveries more efficient covering a larger area in Kharkiv, Poltava/Kremenchuk, Dnipro and Mykolaiv districts.

One of the voluntary organisations is Ukrainian Relief Fund, founded by my son Andriy Boyko. Andriy is an Ukrainian born Australian Doctor, who has worked across Australia and focusing on areas of General Practice, Emergency Medicine and Orthopaedic/Sport Medicine.

He is currently practicing in Newcastle and Port Macquarie (NSW) where he lives with his wife and daughter.

As you know from one of our earlier updates he recently travelled to Poland and Ukraine and delivered in total, just over 3 tonnes of medications and medical equipment to Ukrainian hospitals and medical centres.

The other organisation is Ukraine Appeal ReliefAid, a home-grown Kiwi organisation established by a New Zealander Mike Seawright and helping those in a war zone.

Mike was in Afghanistan and Syria; he is in Ukraine now. Their aid deliveries include medical supplies, food and shelter materials to people left behind in hard-to-reach places.

Thank you again for your support and please continue to share our work with your friends.

    Hi All,

Our medical supplies and humanitarian aid have now been delivered to almost all the destinations we planned. Some of the goods are still in transit within Ukrainian territory and I will further update you on their delivery.

As of today we have delivered Tactical Medical items to a special purpose police unit and a training camp in Kyiv district, our eco-blankets were given to the displaced families arrived from the east and south of Ukraine who are now settled in Poltava/Kremenchuk districts (photos attached, please refer to gallery).

The General Medical supplies had been given to the National Medical Clinical Centre in Kyiv which is one of the largest regional hospitals in Ukraine providing the most comprehensive care for anyone injured as the result of the Russian invasion.

Our volunteers in Kremenchuk/Mykolaiv region managed to assemble up to 75 IFAK (Immediate First Aid Kit) sets using our tactical medical supplies (photos attached, please refer to gallery).

    Each kit contains of 1 x Tourniquet, 2 x Compression Gauzes, 2 x Emergency Bandages, 1 or 2 x Burns Dressings, 1 or 2 x Emergency Blankets, 1 x Compact Chest Seal and 3 to 4 x Non Adherent Dressings.

Your help in supplying these critical items can potentially save from 75 to more than 200 lives of anyone who would be requiring Immediate Medical Assistance as a result of critical injury pending hospital care.

A big Thank You to our freight forwarder Oceanbridge. Bill Speedy and his team have donated their time and resources, and covered all the airfreight and clearing costs for the shipment.

We are working on our second shipment at present. I will give you more details on this in a few days.

Thank you to you ALL for your support!

    Hi All,

We had a few delays receiving our cargo in Poland. However, these have now been resolved and the cargo was collected in Warsaw.

Our goods are at the border, pending transfer into Ukraine.

I must give a big THANKS to my son Andriy Boyko who has helped a lot in clearing the goods through Customs. Andriy (who is medically qualified) is on the scene to sort and allocate the goods appropriately for delivery to Ukrainian hospitals. He has collected and delivered to the border several pallets of equipment and medicines totalling more than 2 Tonnes !

    Fantastic job, Andriy!

I hope to share more good news with you next week, once our goods are with our contacts in Ukraine.

    Thanks for your on-going support.

    Hi All

Some good news to share with you. Our first shipment, two pallets of medical supplies and eco-blankets, is now on the way. It will be in the air to Europe before the end of the week. The shipment will land in Germany, to be trucked to the Ukrainian border. I’ll post photos of the arrival and distribution when I get them.

Our volunteers in Europe (Ukrainian, Polish, British and Australian) will take care of onward movement of the goods into Ukraine to ensure they reach their final destinations.

Immediate first aid items will be delivered close to the combat zones in the east and south of Ukraine, for use in the field. The rest of the medical supplies will go to regional hospitals in Kiev and Dnipro. The eco-blankets will be distributed to shelters and centres for displaced people.

There is another order for humanitarian aid in the pipeline. I will get back to you with more details once it’s finalised and I have more news from the Europe-based food manufacturer.

Thank you all once again, and please keep sharing what we do with everyone you know.

    Hi All,

Just wanted to give you a quick update.

We have now secured 75% of our goods planned for loading in to our first shipment.

Hope to finalise some remaining items and their quantity within next couple of days, therefore we can add them to the shipment and proceed with the airfreight in week beg 09/05.

During our fundraising street campaigns in Howick I had a question what are tactical medical supplies that we are going to send to Ukraine.

I have attached a list of these items which form the largest part of our first shipment and their product description.

Will be in touch with you in 7-10 days once all goods are loaded and shipped to their final destination.

Thank you again for your support and please keep sharing what we do with everyone you know.

    Dear All,

I trust you had a very good Easter Weekend with your family and friends.

It is just over a week since we started our fundraising campaign. This has been a very busy time and still is, but it’s important to keep you updated.

First, thank you so much for your valuable support. It is very important for us to know that we are not alone on our mission, and we have all of you on our side. 40 donations so far have been received via our Givealittle page, we also received some donations during our street fundraising in Howick on 9th April when 25 to 30 people stopped by.

We will be running two more fundraising events soon - one in Howick on 23rd April and another one in Albany on 30th April. An article about who we are and what we do will be published in our local paper, Howick Pakuranga Times this Wednesday 20th April.

Secondly, we have approached several New Zealand distributors of medical materials for Acute and Wound Care with request for proposal in emergency medicine products. Our meetings with them in order to select and secure most appropriate and available ex stock medical supplies will take places in the first week after Easter. Should we continue to receive funds at the same rate, our first shipment can take place in 2 ½ to 3 weeks from now.

I would also like to give you some financial data on cost of such medical products:

    - Burns Dressing (Sterile) 10 x 10 cm - from $10 to $15 each;

    - Hydrogel for burns 30ml              from $10 to $30 each;

    - Wound Gel 30ml from $50 to $70 each;

    - Tourniquets from $60 each;

    - Trauma Bandages from $25 each;

    - SAM Splints  from $30 each;

    - IFAK (Immediate First Aid Kit) from $200+ (stock is not currently available in either AU or NZ).

Thank you for your solidarity with the Ukrainian people, and their heroic defence of their country against Russian aggression. We will keep you posted.

Please continue to share as widely as possible.

    Valeriy
