Meat Train (aka Marcia Taylor) has been in the news a bit recently due to lodging a formal complaint to the NZ Human Rights Commission regarding disability discrimination in sport. This was after she was not selected for the final squad of Team NZ, and discriminatory remarks were made about her Deafness making her a liability on the track.

In an amazing twist to this story, Meat Train has just been formally invited to play at the Blood and Thunder Roller Derby World Cup in the first ever International Queer Derby Bout on the 5th December 2014!

The 2 teams that will be playing are a team from Europe -'Queerope' - and a team from the rest of the world - 'Pangina' - Meaty's team!

The World Cup is in Dallas, USA and as there are only 4 weeks to go, the price of everything (flights, accommodation etc.) has now sky-rocketed.

Meaty needs your help if she is to have any hope of getting there!

As a founding member of the Vagine Regime Aotearoa, this is the perfect end to this story.
