The McEwen family moved to Whitianga recently and sadly Alistair has been seriously injured and flown to Auckland in a serious condition.

Waikato

The Whitianga community would like to be able to give to the McEwen family, so this page has been set up as a place where people can help them financially.

The McEwen family are new to town and don't know many people, I have met Emma a few times as I have a little girl too.

Update from Emma McEwen  5 September 2015

Update from Emma McEwen at 4pm:

"I am pleased to let you all know that Alistair has made steady progress since regaining consciousness. The medical professionals have advised that he will make a full recovery and current indications are all positive. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of Alistair, Sage, and myself to thank all the well wishers, and the overwhelming support we have received from all quarters, especially from the Whitianga community. We look forward to returning to make it our home soon. Thank you all for your incredible kindness."
