Unable to move on rough or unstable ground I need help from a carer or friend. Help me be able to walk Zulu my dog or hanging with my mates without asking for a push or getting into the wilderness that I live for.

My goal is $36,000 that's the chair fully custom fitted.

Update for 08/08/2014  8 August 2014

I was blown away with all the incredible support you all gave me with my wheelchair. This new found freedom is life changing. I'm now independent again and ready to take on the world. That is exactly what we are going to do. The Mongol Challenge is there to change society's way of thinking. Please check out my new project www.sparkmypotential.co.nz/project/mongolchallenge www.facebook.com/makingtraxmongoliachallenge Be a part of changing the world It is official and at this stage we really need your help guys. I know peoples attention span has become way shorter due to fast media but please take those 5 minutes of your time and read a bit further. You can do it and I promise by the end of this text you won't feel like it was a waste of time. So the company who is gonna help us fundraising is 'Spark', up to this stage better known as 'Telecom'. They are changing their name and concept and therefore have chosen 8 people they want to help out to unleash their potential. What that means is: On certain days Spark is going to match us dollar for dollar. So if someone donates 10$, they'll put another 10$ on top of that. If we get 1000$, they'll throw 1000$ in there. One of those certain matching days is starting lunch time today and ends midnight Sunday. This is a huge chance for us and yes, quite frankly we are asking for money at this stage. Every cent helps. You wonder why you should donate money to a bunch of crazies going on a roadie? The answer is: There is more to it. We are serious when we say we want to change the world. We have all come across prejudices, damnation and intolerance. By undertaking the Mongol rally we want to show that everything is possible. If a C5 tetraplegic can do a non guided rally through the whole of Europe and jump, raft, fly off or into everything that crosses our way that is a big thing. Because in reality, able bodied or not, it is a big challenge. That will show people with prejudices what people with disabilities are able to. Fuck prejudices, live life! We will also reach outdoor companies, so in the future outdoor activities will be available for anybody. And last, but not least, we want to reach those individuals that have doubts in themselves. If Jezza can do it, anybody can ?? We think those are three good reasons to spare some change. Even if it's just the money you were going to spend on that next muffin that's gonna go straight onto your hips or that package of cigarettes (you were trying to quit those cancer sticks anyway, right?). Every cent helps. Please be with us. If you donate you will become an active part of our life changing adventure. You will help us plan our tour, car, outfit and whatever else you can think of. Plus you'll get regular updates about our where- and whatabouts. Once again to those really important matching days are from today, Friday (8/8/14) till Sunday (10/08/14) New Zealand time. Every dollar that goes on gets doubled by Sparks. Also the money won't be taken off your account until the end of the campaign which is October. We've got a budget of 20.000$ that we want to reach. If we don't make it your credit card won't be charged at all and we won't get any money. If on the other hand we fundraise more than the 20.000 the money is going to makingtrax so we can enable others to have the adventure of their lifetime. Be part! You know you want it! www.sparkmypotential.co.nz/project/mongolchallenge
