Help Jared Noel meet his baby girl

  • Welcoming Elise Alexandra Grace Noel

      29 January 2014

I am delighted to report that Hannah and Jared have welcomed Elise Alexandra Grace Noel to their family. Weighing 3.865kg (8lb 8), Elise was safely delivered into her father's arms at 6.55am on 17 January 2014. She is perfect in every way and the new parents are doing brilliantly. Photos will follow very shortly! Thank you all so much for your support.

  • An update from Jared

      1 November 2013

Thank you everyone for your generous support over the past few weeks. This extraordinary generosity has meant that I have been able to start chemotherapy using Avastin over the past week. As per usual, chemotherapy makes me feel miserable, nauseous and generally terrible. But thanks to you all I now have a genuine chance of meeting my daughter - a milestone that previously looked difficult to reach. I won't know how well I will respond to this new treatment for a few weeks until I have a CT scan to see how things are going, but the plan, if all things are going well, is to complete ten rounds of Avastin chemotherapy. None of this would have been possible without the incredible response we have received from so many people. It is truly, truly an extraordinary act of generosity. Thank you.

  • A message from Jared and Hannah

      24 October 2013

The past 48 hours have been a whirlwind of love, grace and generosity, demonstrating the enormous power of a story, relationships and social media to rally around a cause. Jared and I have been given more than we could ever have asked or imagined toward the cost of his treatment and the care of our baby. Our target long exceeded, we just want to thank everyone so very much for their kindness. Although the givealittle page will remain open for a little while longer, we are not asking or expecting people to continue such unrestrained giving! To all those who gave, appealed and reposted on our behalf, often with words that brought tears to our eyes, resulting in the in the fastest response givealittle has ever seen - our deepest thanks. To those who have followed our story for years, praying and supporting us through the darkest of days - we love and appreciate you. Our hope is that we will have just a little while longer together and with our baby as a result of your generosity. Love your partner, hug your kids, spend time with your families, laugh and cry with your friends - for none of us know how long we have....May God bless you all as you have blessed us, much love, Jared and Hannah and baby xxx

      23 October 2013

We have raised $100,000 in just over 24 hours! Jared and Hannah's page is the fastest growing page in the history of givealittle. This is a phenomenal achievement. Thank you all so much. It is an understatement to say that Jared and Hannah have been overwhelmed by your generosity. They are incredibly humbled and grateful beyond words. We are pleased to report that, thanks to you, Jared's new chemo regime, including Avastin, will start next Wednesday. Thank you again for your support. We will keep you posted.
