Help us raise funds to build the Home of Hope - a brand new, warm, comfortable, 4-bedroom home for young children from hard places to live.

Bay of Plenty

Last year, a group of determined Classic Builders staff completed 13 x F45 classes in one day and raised over $25,000 for local charity Homes of Hope.

This year, they’re coming back stronger and this time playing to their own strengths. Classic Builders is building Homes of Hope a brand-new home to support their ongoing work providing stable living conditions and foster care to kids all over the Bay of Plenty.

Every cent raised will literally be putting a roof over the heads of our most vulnerable tamariki. The $25,000 raised last year has provided a great foundation to kickstart this enormous initiative. But we can’t do it alone, and we need your help to bring this Home of Hope to life.

Homes of Hope provide therapeutic group family home care 24/7/52 weeks of each and every year, for at-risk children from hard places within the Bay of Plenty. Children aged 0-12 are provided a stable and nurturing environment, with therapeutic care provided to restore their mental, physical, and emotional health while building self-worth and self-efficacy to enable them to flourish.

"We keep siblings together and hold a long-term vision and aspiration for each child who comes into our care and are committed to providing a care service which results in a life-long journey of supportive relationships with them.

Over the past 17 years, we have supported and nurtured more than 250 broken young lives towards becoming happy, confident, well-adjusted people who go on to contribute to the world in meaningful ways."

By providing a brand spanking new comfortable, warm home, you will be helping these little ones realise their full potential and help to put a smile on their faces, for some it will likely be the first time they have had a reason to ever laugh.

About us

We are passionate about delivering the very best foster care services within a strong community. We prevent children from being separated from their brothers and sisters and provide stable therapeutic care for as long as a child requires it. Children don't get moved from house to house, we care for them until they are ready to go to their forever homes.

Use of funds

Your funds will help to complete the entire home, make it comfortable and warm for Homes of Hope to fill it with love and laughter for children from hard places. Any surplus will go towards helping the Trust pay the mortgage on existing children's homes.

What a Difference You Have Made To Our Tamariki And Their Lives Well Lived  4 October 2021

Posted by: Pam French

Each day, we are so grateful for the incredible difference you have made to the lives of young tamariki entrusted to our care. With your support and aroha, we have together made their time away from whanau a little easier. As you may know, one of our strong points of difference is that we keep siblings together.

With this beautiful new home that the children have named Kauri, we are able to do just that. A sibling group is now residing in the new home and is caring for their new whare with a great deal of pride. We cannot thank you enough for journeying with us.
