Hi all, unfortunately Danni's health has taken a sharp decline and the cancer is spreading rapidly. She has now been transferred to Waipuna Hospice.
Thanks to the generous support I am pleased to say that Danni started her first treatment of Vitamin C yesterday. This will be done twice weekly for at least 6 months.
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped, it's a very humbling experience to see so many people willing to support Danni.
Danni has had a really tough time of it over the past few weeks, the chemo is hitting her hard and the nausea and pain is worse than it has been in the past.
We have discussed the merits of continuing with chemo, after all, if it didn't help her prior to being diagnosed as terminal, what good is it likely to be in the future. A big decision for her and one she won't make without serious consideration and consultation with her Oncologist.
On a brighter note, she had her blood tests which were required prior to Vitamin C treatment, and we are hopeful she can make a start with I.V Vitamin C within the next week or so. I hope this will give her the boost she needs and make the decision to kick chemo easier.
Once again, than you all, it has meant so, so much to us.
