    Hello dearest family and friends, what an amazing 8 months this has been - I have loved every minute - although my feet are starting to resemble an elephants and I now need a nap every afternoon!!

    Bex and I are super happy and feeling very ready to welcome this little child into the world. We have a wonderful midwife and are as prepared as we can be!!

    We thought you'd like to see a photo of this beautiful belly of mine....I just LOVE having a baby in here!!! Feels so so awesome.

    Next time you see us we'll be THREE!!! Happiest of holidays everyone. We love you and we THANK you!!! Merry Christmas!!

  • Get ready for the best news EVER!!!!!!

    So the best bit first....we're having a baby!!! Twelve weeks on Friday. Can you even believe it??!?? We're still buzzing flying high as kites!

    Now for the details. ....we started IVF in April, and I actually found the injections not too bad...no mood swings or crazy feelings, just super tired and headachy. We were so nervous at our first scan to see if any egg follicles were growing, but had good news right away with the doctor seeing five! The good news just kept coming with 6 eggs collected, 4 fertilsed and then one PERFECT little embryo popped back in.

    I have been so lucky to have a totally stress free easy life through this whole time, with the wonderful Bec supporting me. We've felt so connected to this little baby and each other. It really has been a blissful time.

    Once again we want to say a massive thank you for all the love and support you have given us throughout this amazing journey. We are just so full of love and gratitude, because of you, this baby is on the way!!

  • We've got some news!!

    Hi Dear Friends and Family…

    Ok so we can hardly believe this, and are feeling overwhelmed with gratitude…we just got back from an awesome week on Great Barrier Island where Bex used to live, visiting friends and exploring, to find someone has donated over $5000!! Totally anonymous...wherever you are, whoever you are…our deepest thanks and gratitude from the bottom of our hearts.

    It was a surreal day yesterday processing this, and such perfect timing too, as we will explain….

    It’s coming up to one year since we first went to the fertility doctors together…what a year it has been. And now we are ready - in body and mind, to start the next phase. So next month we try to make a baby…IVF time folks!!! YAHOO!!!! It is a big time for us, very tough on the emotions but also exciting and full of possibility.

    Every one of you is involved and we literally would not be where we are without your love and support. Thank you all so so much. Our anonymous donor told us to ‘keep believing’ and that is exactly what we are doing.

  • It's a Long Road...

    Dearest Friends and Family.

    Firstly THANK YOU!!!!!!!! so so much for your generous donations...it's a very overwhelming feeling being on this side of the love and good wishes coming our way. Can you believe we're almost to $6000?!!! Sort of nearly half way there.

    We've had an emotional time the last few weeks; visiting another doctor who we were hoping would re-assess us for government funding (alas not), and a kinesiologist/naturopath working with us so we're in peak physical condition when we start IVF. GAPS diet, supplements and exercise was the order of the day. Thankfully I love bone broth, cause I now must drink 600mls per day!

    Wonderful spring is here...peas, beetroot and carrots planted today...digging in the dirt makes me feel hopeful and happy.
