Supporting baby Gareth McHale, in his future journey of growing up without his loving mum, Stephanie McHale.

Bay of Plenty

Stephanie McHale (nee Pearson) was tragically taken from this world in a car accident on the 15th of October 2015. Her son Gareth (only six weeks old) was fortunately uninjured in the accident. Many of us are struggling to put into words our heartfelt thoughts and sympathy, as we acknowledge the loss of a special young woman.

This page has been established in an effort to communicate our love and support, and provide assistance toward the journey that lies ahead for Stephanie's young son, Gareth.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
