A Christmas to remember!!
17 January 2014Sorry we haven't updated everyone in a while. Everything has been a whirlwind and we felt very overwhelmed and humbled by the generousity of EVERYONE! The relief and emotions that we felt waking up christmas morning still together as a family was unexplainable. The day started off with breakfast at home with mum and then lunch at Dad and Mabels and dinner at Chris, Olivia and Christines. We were and are so blessed to be surrounded by love. Thanks to the kind donations of toys, games etc. the kids had a christmas that we would not have been able to give them. On the 29th of December Clinton and I went to Whangarei for some well deserved R'n'R and quiet time without the kids. Absolute bliss! Clint and I haven't been away alone for 12 years! The kids then joined us on the 31st for New Years which we spent in Whangarei. We have always believed that you see in the New Year how you want to see it out! The places that we stayed at were amazing! We all made amazing memories that we will cherish forever! Clint hasnt been fantastic since New Years and at times its been a struggle but we are getting there. Now we wait for the scan at the end of the month to tell us how well the drug has worked. And now we re-focus on road ahead, the treatment and appointments that will hopefully get Clint the treatment he desperately wants and deserves! Bring on 2014!! We are ready for what you have to throw at us! We also have a new member of our family Bella Tata who is a 1yr old Chahuahua. Clint has never been a animal person but this one he has clung to and vice versa! She has done wonders for him. She gets him out of bed and walking around xx
